Forestville, PA – July 29, 2010 – Rain has been the deciding factor at Big Diamond Raceway over the past three scheduled events. Therefore, both competitors and fans are excited about the upcoming racing card (Friday July 30) at the speedway. The headlining 358 Modifieds are set to battle in a 35-lap main event, which pays $3000 to win.

In the pit area this Friday night, any pit license will be honored and good for a $25 admission. Grandstand prices are: adults-$15, students (ages 13-17)/seniors (over 60)/military (with id)-$12, and children (ages 6-12)-$4. Fans who attended last Friday’s show before the rain arrived are reminded that their rain checks will be good as $12 towards this week’s events or would be accepted at the following Friday, August 6 program.

Craig Von Dohren of Boyertown won the most previous 35-lapper at Big Diamond, which was held on July 2. Von Dohren, the current 358 Modified points leader, has secured a total of four BDR feature victories this season. BIG DIAMOND RACEWAY WELCOMES PIONEER POLE BUILDINGS AS COALCRACKER SPONSOR…By Gary Lileck

Forestville, PA – July 15, 2010 – Big Diamond Raceway is proud to announce that Pioneer Pole Buildings, located on Route 183 South in Schuylkill Haven, has once again signed on as the Coalcracker Weekend sponsor.

This upcoming Labor Day Weekend (September 3 and 5), the 3/8 mile clay oval will celebrate its 30th Coalcracker. The dream began in 1979 and has changed in variations throughout the years, but one fact remains the same. The Coalcracker is the largest race of the season at Big Diamond.

PPB will sponsor both race nights including the 50-lap Sportsman feature on Friday and 100-lap 358 Modified classic on Sunday.

Big Diamond Raceway would like to express thanks to Pioneer Pole Buildings for all of their help and support throughout the current five-year tenure.
